A very cosy interior, something "out of time", but nice little details.

We stopped in Hancock for a night while riding the Great allegheny passage to D.C. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was taken care of well and the room listing is accurate. The room was large, clean and well furnished at a reasonable price. The staff, in particular, was exceptional: they went out of their way to help us, when one of us had issues on the trail before getting to Hancock. Strongly recommended. We were very comfortable during our stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Eating breakfast on the porch.
This facility is VERY old. Needs a complete overhaul. Entrance to property is extremely difficult. If you are traveling north on 522, you cannot turn left into the property. Quite inconvenient.

New Owners were very nice and had small continental brkfst available
Very outdated room facilities, mostly knotty pine walls, cold floor, drafty doorways and noisy wall heater. Vent in bathoom was dirty and lighting poor. I was there during 20+ degrees and would not recommend for cold weather.

We had a pleasant stay for the night on a road trip.
Our guest room included Wi-Fi and coffee. The location of the property was comfortable and absolutely perfect as we were close to MD in a snow storm, the C&O canal and a nice restaurant. It also was on the baseboard area.

This place was just a suitable option for a weekend escape in Hancock at a good price. The bed was comfortable and clean, a nice surprise for a budget stay. If you're looking for decent accommodations, it's worth considering, but don't expect luxury.

We loved the proximity to both the C&O trail and Whitetail Ski Resort for some adventurous days. The super nice team, especially with our bikes. The room was comfortable, clean enough, and it's a budget-friendly choice. Just a heads-up, keep in mind there's no breakfast available, but overall, it was a solid stay.
One thing I noticed was that the carpet could definitely use some cleaning. It had a bit of a musty smell.
