This place was just a suitable option for a weekend escape in Hancock at a good price. The bed was comfortable and clean, which was a nice surprise for a budget stay. If you're looking for decent accommodations, it's worth considering, but don't expect luxury.

    helpful staff
    comfortable room
    budget-friendly choice
    musty smell

Had a great time here with friends! We loved the proximity to both the C&O trail and Whitetail Ski Resort for some adventurous days. The staff were super helpful, especially with our bikes. The room was comfortable, clean enough, and it’s a budget-friendly choice. Just a heads-up, keep in mind there's no breakfast available, but overall, it was a solid stay.

One thing I noticed was that the carpet could definitely use some cleaning. it had a bit of a musty smell.

We had a great time enjoying the nearby bike trails. The room was decent for our family of four, and the kids loved the cable programming that kept them entertained after long days of exploring. Plus, the friendly staff made our stay more enjoyable.

If you're a foodie, you've got to hit up Potomac River Grill just across the street—it's a local gem with killer roasted meats! The place was clean, albeit a bit dated, and super affordable for a pitstop. Plus, it's a hop away from the bike trails, making it a solid choice for two-wheeled travelers.

However, the motel's really seen better days. Think musty smells and worn-out furniture. My room was a letdown with no nightstand to put my late-night snacks on — just a tad annoying! Fresh paint and a good scrub would do wonders here.

Cozy Retreat After a Long Ride!

We enjoyed a comfortable night here after biking. The staff were incredibly helpful, even offering to store our muddy bikes safely. The room was clean, and we appreciated the charming, quirky decor outside. For future guests, definitely check out a local restaurant for a great meal nearby!
